In the early hours of this morning, I was sat in the front room watching The Muppets; Letters To Santa, eating pizza and drinking Baileys. The front room, which we don't usually use, has become the Christmas room of sorts, as Mandi bought a new television for the front room and moved the DVD player in there. It helped a bit.
After lunch at my dad's, Mandi and I went to The Arboretum for a Christmas event. I had been looking forward to this, but it didn't live up to my expectations sadly. A bandstand were playing festive tunes, but had their running order all wrong, so that they played a slow song followed by a fast song and back again. You aren't going to get a crowd dancing like this, and especially not if you leave big gaps between tunes.
Also, blackcurrant fruit cordial diluted with lukewarm water is not 'non-alcoholic mulled wine'. You can buy non-alcoholic mulled wine that tastes like mulled wine.
